Richard Kniazuk

Richard Kniazuk is a native of Chicago and was raised in a flat area outside the city imaginatively named Des Plaines. He has so far spent his life eating Polish food, wandering through forest preserves, going to Renaissance Faires and Revolutionary War re-enactments, and writing. Disguised as an academic, Richard studied at Loyola University Chicago, where he loved the tranquility of the nearby beach, long nights on porches, explorations of the city, and expanding on ideas. In college, he founded an ephemeral literary publication known as Lucid Riot. He has also managed the media relations for an Ohio state representative's campaign, worked in a graveyard, sliced at a deli, and put together stamps at a notary public stamp-making facility. Currently, he is developing new projects, and writing short stories and screenplays. He assembled Machine Culture to celebrate the creative endeavors of friends and neighbors, and convey the beauty of Chicago and the Midwest.
